God created everything in the image of Himself, so I see nature as a beautiful thing made so that people can see the beauties and creativity of God. Nature is not just the outdoors, it is a lake, a blade of grass, a frog, a dirt road, people. All waters, plants, animals, and humans are all parts of nature.
The way that I interact with nature is I appreciate and enjoy it all alone. Some days when the weather is nice, I like to sit outside and just breathe in. When it is still and quiet, I am at my most serene moment. One of the places I connect with nature most is actually in my backyard. I like to sit on a swing and feel the breeze calmly rush against my face. When I am alone in my backyard, I can sing out to God and hear His voice speak straight to my heart.
I can't help but see the beauty of God when I look at nature. Just observing the patterns of wildlife and the food chain are just so incredible. God made everything so intricately so we can enjoy living in this beautiful world filled with His creation of nature. God is named the Creator, so He is obviously creative, and that creativity is the reason I love nature.
Another aspect of nature that brings me close to God is at night; when it is warm with a cool breeze and the sky is a deep shade of dark blue and the most visible light is coming from the stars. The wonders and enormity of the stars in the sky is honestly the most beautiful aspect of nature I have ever seen. I can connect with God the most in this setting. I think the reason for that is because it is so dark and I can't see anything around me, so He is the only thing I know for sure is with me at that moment. I have no reason to believe anything else is around.
I think that the reason I am so impacted by nature is because before houses, cars, buildings, technology, even before any existence of life, God created nature. It has always been there since the beginning of time. In the beginning God created the earth, it was dark and void. On the second day, He made light. Light is a part of nature. It is the reason flowers grow, it is the reason people can see, and it is the reason God's beautiful nature is visible. God created nature for us to enjoy, so I don't see a reason why not to.
a depiction of God's glory in nature

Love this, Alie. Great job. You really expressed quite eloquently some of those ideas we all feel but can't express. Nicely done! :)
