Cuanto Nos Ama Dios

He is jealous for me, He loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy. That is all I need to hear from David Crowder's "How He Loves Us" before I start breaking down. The song speaks such true emotions of what God actually feels for us.
On May 25th, I went to Puerta Cabeza, Nicaragua with a team from my school called "Undignified". We did some dramas to music to share the gospel. One of the dramas we did was called "How He Loves Us" because we danced it to that song. The version we did was called "Cuanto Nos Ama Dios" sung and played by two members of our team, Kyle and Mike. The main part I dance to in the song is right at the beginning to only the first 10 measures of the song. I play a lonely girl that needs someone to love - GOD. In this drama, Kyle plays God.
Not only do these alluring words draw me closer to God, but so does Kyle. Even though I know Kyle is not God, I actually feel like I am dancing with God. I cannot even explain the feeling. I was smiling at Kyle like a dork, and he must have thought I was being creepy, but I was honestly seeing God in him and falling deeper in love with God at that moment.
One time in Nicaragua when we were performing this drama, I just fell to my knees in worship because I finally understood the words and how they applied to me. It was a beautiful moment I had with God. During the same performance, I started singing along with the song without even knowing, and I knew all the words. This was a strange thing because the song was in Spanish and I had only heard it twice before. It was insane! And of course after it was over, I couldn't remember any of the words, but it was so amazing just in that moment how God connected with me. I like how He did it too, because I am a worship leader, and when I pray or preach, I usually speak lyrics to a worship song, so I think that this was an intimate way that God spoke to my heart.
God does amazing little things like that, He loves us so much that He learns every detail about our lives and used the fact that I love worship music to speak to my heart. I am so in love with Him.
